Nigeria: Telecoms operators seek action against vandalism

WorldStage Newsonline– The Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria (ALTON) has urged the government and security agencies to help curb increasing vandalism and theft of telecoms infrastructure. This appeal is contained in a statement  by ALTON Chairman, Mr Gbenga Adebayo, and Publicity Secretary, Mr Damian Udeh, in Lagos. Adebayo warned that these criminal acts posed a serious threat to the stability of national communication systems.
